Your library stays on your PC.

1. Where your data is kept

The links, captions, photos, videos, notes and tags you save are stored only in the library folder you chose on your PC.

What you keep in the hidden library is encrypted there with a key protected by its 6-digit PIN. The PIN itself is not stored anywhere.

2. Signing in to Instagram

You sign in to Instagram yourself, on Instagram’s own page shown inside the app. joopik never receives or stores your password.

The sign-in session (cookies) is kept on this PC, protected with Windows encryption, and is deleted when you sign out or uninstall the app.

3. What is sent, and to whom

joopik sends no data to the developer or to third parties. There is no telemetry, crash reporting, advertising or analytics.

The only network traffic is fetching the posts you ask for and the sign-in page you open. Updates and purchases are handled by the Microsoft Store.

4. Information about other people

Saved posts may contain information about their authors and other people. Keep saved content for personal reference only. joopik has no feature for sharing content with others.

5. Deleting your data

Deleting the library folder deletes all your data.

Uninstalling the app does not delete the library folder, so you don’t lose your data by accident. The app’s settings and sign-in session are removed on uninstall.

6. Purchases

Payments are handled by the Microsoft Store. joopik does not receive payment information.
